Patna, Aug 3 (UNI) Bihar Health Minister and senior BJP leader Mangal Pandey on Tuesday asserted that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is strong as rock and would again come to power after five years.
The coalition is very much united and it would not only complete its full term but also form the next government after five years, he told media adding that there was no internal bickering in NDA, as being speculated in media.
BJP leader, however, avoided answering whether Chief Minister Nitish Kumar would again lead the next NDA government after five years and said that it was not an appropriate time to respond to such queries. Whether be it "Janata ke Darbar mein Mukhya Mantri" or "Sahyog" programme of ministers from BJP quota in the party office, both were a complement to each other and should not be treated like two programmes competing with each other.
Pandey said that both the issues of Pegasus phone surveillance and caste-based census were under the purview of the Central government. As a minister of the NDA government in Bihar, he had no right to comment on these issues. He added that the Centre and Central leadership of the party had made their stands clear on both issues.
BJP leader, also the Health Minister of Bihar, said that the scenario had changed considerably in the health sector due to the sustained efforts of the NDA government. Patna Medical College and Hospital would become the largest Medical College Hospital in India, he stated adding that the government was making all efforts to make this determination, a reality.
