Republican mayoral candidate Curtis Sliwa called on Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign Tuesday, after Attorney General Tish James’ released her damning probe detailing the governor’s rampant sexual harassment.

“I mean, if this isn’t a statement of why Cuomo must go, I don’t know what is,” Sliwa said at an unrelated press conference in Queens.

“Now that the weight of evidence is clearly against Andrew Cuomo, he could do us all a big favor by resigning now,” he added. “As far as I’m concerned, good riddance, let’s get rid of Cuomo.”

The Guardian Angels founder — who faces Democratic mayoral nominee Eric Adams in November’s general election — joked that the governor should become a lobbyist.

“Andrew Cuomo’s day has come. Goodbye, Andrew. pack your bags. Maybe you can come back here to Corona, Queens,” Sliwa quipped “You are a Queens boy. Maybe you could move in here, get into private practice, be a lobbyist, get wined, dined and pocket lined just like you have in elected offices.”

The Attorney general’s bombshell report, released Tuesday morning, found Cuomo violated federal and state laws by sexually harassing multiple women, including current and former state employees. The investigation found he touched their “intimate body parts” without consent.

In response, the current mayor, Bill de Blasio, on Tuesday also implored Cuomo to resign, calling the governor’s alleged conduct “disqualifying” and “painful to hear.”

James’ report prompted several state legislative lawmakers — including the leader of the State Assembly — to declare that Cuomo’s time helming the Empire State’s government should come to an end.

“The findings contained in the report are disturbing. The details provided by the victims are gut-wrenching. Our hearts go out to all the individuals who have had to endure this horrible experience,” said Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie (D-Bronx). “The conduct by the Governor outlined in this report would indicate someone who is not fit for office. We will have more to say in the very near future.”

Cuomo, in a bizarre video message, denied the allegations and refused to step aside, insisting Tuesday afternoon he “never touched anyone inappropriately.”
