Relaxation in restrictions in 22 districts of Maha

Aurangabad / Mumbai, Aug 2 (UNI) Third level restrictions have been maintained under 'Break the Chain' in 11 districts of the state with high incidence of covid infection.
Thus, except for these 14 districts, the rest of the 22 districts in the state have been given some relaxation in restrictions effective from tomorrow (Aug 3).
According to official press statement issued tonight stated that the , Department of Public Health has issued break-the-chain orders under the Infectious Diseases Act and the Disaster Management Act.
Though restrictions have been relaxed in some districts, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the people to follow the health norms and continue to wear masks in any situation.
The 11 districts in which the third level restrictions will be applicable are including Kolhapur, Sangli, Satara, Pune, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Solapur, Ahmednagar, Beed, Raigad, Palghar.
While Disaster Management Authority will decide on restrictions in 3 districts namely Mumbai, Mumbai Suburbs and Thane,the statement stated.
The statement further stated that ,Restrictions in the rest of the 22 districts will be waived as Shops and malls that do not sell all kinds of essentials as well as essentials will be open from Monday to Friday up to 2000 hours and Saturday up to 1500 hours. All shops and malls will be closed on Sunday except for necessities.
All public parks, grounds are open for exercise, walking, running, cycling etc.
All government and private offices will continue at full capacity.
Suggestions for division of office hours to avoid travel congestion
Offices that can be continued in the work-from-home manner.
All kinds of agricultural work, construction, transportation of goods, industry will continue at full capacity.
Gym, gymnasium, yoga center, beauty parlor, hairdresser do not want to use air conditioning but can operate at 50% capacity from Monday to Friday at 2000 hours It will be closed till 1500 hours on Saturday and completely closed on Sunday.
Cinemas, theaters, as well as multiplexes in malls will remain closed.
Places of worship for all religions in the state will remain closed.
The Department of School Education and Higher Education will decide on schools and colleges.
All restaurants will be open till 1600 hours with 50 per cent seating capacity. But you have to follow the rules of health while parcel service can be continued as of now.
It is not possible to go out between 9 pm and 5 am without urgent reasons.
Restrictions on birthday ceremonies, political, social, cultural ceremonies, elections, campaigns, processions, demonstrations have been maintained to prevent the spread of infection due to crowds.
All citizens are required to abide by the Corona Prevention Rules, such as the use of masks and safe distances.
Violation of these rules will result in action being taken in accordance with the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the Infectious Diseases Act, and the Indian Penal Code,the statement added.
