Sheriff: 83-year-old man with Alzheimer’s missing from Symmes Township found

Update 3:30 p.m. : The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said James Baumgarten has been found. 

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office issued a critical missing alert for an 83-year-old Symmes Township man who might have Alzheimer's.

James Baumgarten hasn't been seen since 3:30 p.m. Monday in the area of the Walmart on Bowen Drive in Mason, according to the sheriff's office. 

Baumgarten drives a light green 2007 Toyota Avalon with Ohio plate ECC3842.

He is possibly wearing a brown long sleeve shirt with khaki pants and brown shoes.

The sheriff's office said Baumgarten is in the early stages of dementia or Alzheimer's.

Anyone that sees Baumgarten should call the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office at 513-851-6000 or call 911 if his light green Toyota Avalon is spotted on the road.
