Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Assembly on Monday congratulated Indian badminton player PV Sindhu for winning a second Olympic medal. “Sindhu has won two medals in consecutive Olympic games. She has won a bronze medal in women’s singles badminton. She had won a silver medal at the Rio Olympics held in 2016. She had also won the world badminton championship in 2019. The 26-year-old has earned prestigious achievements,” said speaker MB Rajesh on behalf of the House. The two medals that India secured in the ongoing Olympics in Tokyo were won by women.
