Part 4 of the viral Spanish crime thriller La Casa De Papel, or Money Heist, left the audience at a major cliffhanger—inspector Alicia Sierra tracks down the Professor's hiding point and has him at gunpoint. The Gang has just been reunited with Lisbon after having witnessed the brutal death of one of their core members, Nairobi, and is preparing to extract the gold out of the Bank of Spain.

Now, Netflix has just dropped the trailer for the first part of the final season, Part 5 Vol 1, with the caption, “Surrendering is not an option.”

The high-octane clip gives many thrilling insights into what's in store for viewers. It's safe to say that we can expect the ruthless Sierra to keep the Professor captive while blackmailing him for information. Meanwhile, Colonel Tamayo plans to take things up a notch at the police base camp by involving the military—“They'll come out victorious or they'll come out dead.” We also get a few seconds of Tokyo and Rio having a moment—could this possibly indicate their reunion after the break-up in the last season? And an impassioned Tokyo knocking out Gandia. In a parallel plotline, we get flashbacks of Berlin visiting his son with Tatiana. 

The final season of the world's favourite heist series seems to promise lots of action, warfare, and climax points. While volume one drops on Netflix on September 3, you can kill time by indulging in the hottest fan theories in the meanwhile.
