COVID: Aurangabad reports single death, 20 positive cases

Aurangabad (Maharashtra), Aug 2 (UNI) Aurangabad on Monday reported 20 new COVID cases while one patient died of the virus, the authorities informed.
Out of 20 positive cases including 6 from city limit and rest of 14 from rural areas in the district .
With the new additions, the district’s caseload surged to 1,47,463 while the death toll increased to 3,502.
Meanwhile, 24 people were cured and discharged, taking count of the recovered cases to 1,43,659.
Presently, Aurangabad has 300 active cases.
Report from Jalna district stated that 11 new cases were found and no one patient was died. While 12 peoples are cured and discharged, reducing the number of active cases to 106.
Report from Hingoli stated that ,no positive patient was spotted as well as no one death was reported on today.
While one patient was cured and 18 active still under treatment,they added.
