Connecting bridge to Kangchup Chiru village collapses

Imphal, August 02 2021: Kangchup Chiru village in Kangpokpi district has been cut off from other places since the only bridge which is the lifeline of the village collapsed due to incessant rainfall last night.

Chairman of the Kangchup Chiru Village Authority, TR Jacob informed of the situation in a press release issued by him today.

He earnestly appealed to the authorities concerned to repair the bridge at the earliest in the interest of the villagers.
