    Pidilite Ind shares drop 0.26% as Sensex rises

    Mazhar Mohammad of Chartviewindia.in said technical indicators are turning mixed as the weekly MACD chart has generated a 'buy' signal, giving an edge to the bulls.
    Shares of the Pidilite Industries Ltd. traded at Rs 2272.0 on BSE at 01:11PM (IST) on Monday, down 0.26 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1307.05 and a high of Rs 2335.0.

    Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

    At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 102.06 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 22.26 per share and 16.45 times its book value, as per BSE data.

    A total of 6,385 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:11PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 115452.45 crore and is part of the Diversified industry.

    The scrip has been an outperformer , up 67.32 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 37.56 per cent gain in Sensex.

    During the day, the stock moved between Rs 2299.05 and Rs 2268.35.

    Promoter/FII Holding
    Promoters held 69.49 per cent in the company as of 30-Jun-2021. FII and MF ownership in Pidilite Industries Ltd. stood at 12.08 per cent and 3.84 per cent, respectively.
