Shares of Avenue Supermarts Ltd. fell 0.05 per cent to Rs 3498.8 in Monday's trade as of 01:31PM (IST) even as the benchmark Nifty ruled at 15868.20, up 105.15 points.

The scrip had closed at Rs 3500.55 in the previous session. The stock quoted a 52-week low of Rs 1949.3 and a high of Rs 3535.0. The company quoted a market-cap of Rs 226484.7 crore on the BSE.

On BSE, 4,028 shares have changed hands on the counter so far. At its prevailing price, the stock traded at 196.13 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 17.83 per share and 15.17 times its book value. The return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 9.02.

For the quarter ended 30-Jun-2021, Avenue Supermarts Ltd. reported consolidated sales of Rs 5214.58 crore, down 32.56 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported 137.89 per cent YoY growth in net profit at Rs 95.37 crore for the latest quarter.
