    Share price of MRF jumps as Sensex gains 345.45 points

    Synopsis

    Promoters held 27.25 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2021, while FII and DII ownership stood at 14.07 per cent and 7.5 per cent, respectively.

    The share price of Ltd. gained 0.68 per cent to Rs 80453.45 at 11:58AM (IST) in Monday's trade. The counter has hit a high of Rs 81099.0 and low of Rs 80291.8 so far during the session. The stock had closed at Rs 79911.75 in the previous session.

    The counter has had a total traded volume of 275 shares so far with a value of Rs 2.21 crore on the NSE. It traded at a price-to-earnings multiple of 26.77 and a price-to-book ratio of 2.6.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher price for per rupee earnings given by the stock because of better future growth expectations.

    Profit for the latest quarter stood at Rs 332.15 crore, down 51.08 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
