Grandmother Shares 'Life-Changing' Method for Washing Dishes
Emptying a clean dishwasher is a task that very few of us find fun, especially if the dishes are still wet when we need to put them away.
However, if this is an issue that happens in your kitchen, one woman on TikTok has shared her brilliant method for avoiding drying items by hand.
A grandmother by the name of Babs, known on the app as Brunchwithbabs, showed her technique, which can be viewed here, to her 880,600 followers by explaining: "Hi, it's Babs, has this ever happened to you?
"You just washed the dishes but everything is still wet. No hand drying those dishes. Do this instead."
Babs, who has eight grandchildren, then hung a drying cloth over the door of her washing machine before closing it, revealing: "At the end of the cleaning cycle, terry cloth dish towel, close the door and wait five minutes.
"You won't have to hand-dry the dishes."
She adds: "Need more mom or grandma advice in your life? Follow along."
Babs captioned the video, which was shared on July 26, writing: "Life Changing Dishwasher Hack #tutorials #kitchenhacks #parentsoftiktok #dishwasherhack."
