On August 6, the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet will meet in the secretariat to discuss critical topics. On Saturday, Chief Secretary Aditya Nath Das issued an order to that effect. By 1 p.m. on August 3, all departments must submit 60 copies of their proposals in the specified format. These will be used to brief Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his cabinet on the meeting's agenda.

The cabinet is likely to examine the government's efforts to regulate Covid-19, the execution of different social programmes, and the continuing water conflict with Telangana, among other things. It will focus on criticism of the state government's newly established work schedule.

YS jagan Mohan reddy, the chief minister of Telangana, wrote to prime minister Narendra Modi, pleading with him to intervene in the water conflict between the two telugu states. Telangana, according to jagan, is violating provisions of the ap Reorganisation Act as well as inter-state water-sharing agreements made between the two states.

Other topics that may be discussed during the cabinet meeting include the building of three lakh Jagananna homes, the Disha law, and recent human rights violations and the steps taken to avoid them in the future.
