Malwan-Kinara hotel in 10/E ward was also sealed.
THANE: Continuing its action against those flouting Covid-19 norm, the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal corporation (KDMC) sealed several shops and also levied fines on 14 establishments.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, shops and establishments are allowed to remain open during the weekday till 4 pm. However, in some areas, shops and hotels continued to remain open flouting the Covi-19 rules.
On the orders of KDMC chief Vijay Suryavanshi, the officials visited various malls, marriage halls, hotels among other places to act against those breaking Covid-19 rules.
During the action, the civic body collected Rs 70,000 from establishments in 4/J, 5/D, 6/F, 7/Ha, 8/Ga, and 9/I wards.
Apart from that, seven shops located on Shil Phata and Mangal road in 9/I ward were also sealed.
Whereas, Malwan-Kinara hotel in 10/E ward was also sealed.
