Greater Noida: Four persons, including two juveniles, have been booked for allegedly morphing a photograph of a 14-year-old girl and blackmailing her by threatening to circulate the same. In her complaint, the girl has alleged that she was first stopped by one of the juveniles — aged about 16 years — who forcefully kissed her and the other accused allegedly clicked their picture. Subsequently, the accused allegedly morphed the picture and sent it to her and started blackmailing her, demanding money. “She told us that the accused demanded Rs 10,000 from her repeatedly and she ended up giving Rs 30,000 to them in total. She further alleged that the accused later demanded Rs 50,000 from her, following which she revealed the incident to her family which later informed police,” a police officer said. Police have booked the four under IPC sections against 354 (sexual harassment) and the POCSO Act. Rabupura SHO Dinesh Yadav told TOI that they will send the girl for recording of her statements under Section 164 of CrPC. In yet another case, a 22-year-old woman has alleged that she was allegedly harassed by three men while passing via a road in the Jewar area around 6.30pm on Thursday. The woman alleged that the main accused, Chhote, who is married and belongs to a different community, has been pressurising her to marry him. Jewar police have filed a case against Chhote, and two others — Satvir and Danish. Jewar SHO Umesh Bahadur, however, claimed that the woman and Chhote were in a relationship earlier. “An FIR has been lodged against the accused.”
