Navi Mumbai reports 70 new Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) said that the city reported 70 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
Two people succumbed to the deadly infection today. The total death toll climbed to 1,833.
Today, 56 patients were discharged from hospitals post making a full recovery. As many as 1,00,764 patients have recovered from Covid-19 infection and have been discharged from hospitals so far.
Presently, 1,173 patients are under treatment.
The civic body mentioned that 17 people tested positive in Belapur. Nerul reported 21 positive cases, 12 in Vashi, six in Airoli and three cases in Digha.
