Equestrian Update
India's Fouaad Mirza, astride Seigneur, had 39.20 total penalty points (28.00 in Dressage and 11.20 in Cross Country) after finishing Cross Country and is placed 18th currently in the Equestrian's Eventing competition
Satish Kumar injury update
Sources telling us that the Indian boxer's injuries, which he sustained in his last bout, have healed to the satisfaction of boxing officials and he has been cleared to fight in his quarterfinal.
Also in contention of confirming a medal for India will be Satish Kumar in the men's Super Heavyweight quarterfinal against Bakhodir Jalolov at 9:35 am today.
