Sheriff: Person found dead in Lincoln Heights, suspect fled the scene

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a person that was found dead in Lincoln Heights Sunday morning.

Officers responded to the scene near Jackson Street and Leggett Street around 3:30 a.m. Sunday. 

One victim was found dead and the suspect fled the scene, according to police.

Deputies are not releasing the name of the victim at this time. This death is being investigated as a homicide, according to the Sheriff's Office.
