UP Board Class 12th Result 2021, UPMSP Intermediate Result 2021 Live Updates: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Parishad (UPMSP) declared Class 12 results today at 3:30 pm. Students can check their results on the websites upmsp.edu.in, upresults.nic.in, results.gov.in, upmspresults.up.nic.in. The UP Board has not announced any merit list this year as board exams were cancelled due to Covid.

A total of 26,10,316 students who registered to appear for the class 12 exams, a total of 25,54,813 have been declared pass. In UP Inter result 2020, 74.64 per cent of students had cleared the exam. It was higher than 2019 when 70.2 per cent cleared the exam. Humanities students have recorded a pass percentage of 97.92 per cent, Science students registered 97.88% while commerce stream pass percentage is at 97.22%

Girls have yet again outperformed boys in the Class 12 results by securing a pass percent of 98.40. Boys recorded97.47 pass percentage.

The UP board did not conduct regular offline exams for class 10 and 12 boards this year and decided to create an evaluation system like several other state boards did.

UP Board Class 12 result 2021 LIVE Updates in Hindi

The Class 12 results have been prepared on the basis of an alternative assessment scheme, devised by an 11-member committee. This evaluation scheme consists of three components. The first component carries a weightage of 50% and includes marks obtained by students in Class 10 examinations. The second component carries a weightage of 40% and includes marks obtained by students in Class 11 half-yearly examinations/ annual examinations. The third component carries a weightage of 10% and includes marks obtained by students in Class 12 pre-board examinations.

UP Board Class 12 result 2021 Science stream result

In 2021,  a total of 15,27,442 students had registered from the science stream out of which 14,95,097 have been successfully passed by the board. The science stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 97.88%

In 2021,  a total of 9,32,445 students had registered from the humanities stream out of which 9,13,093 have been successfully passed by the board. The arts stream recorded an overall pass percentage of 97.92% which is highest in all three streams.

Last year in class 12, 74.64 per cent students cleared the exam. This was higher than l2019 when 70.2 per cent cleared the exam. Anurag Malik topped the class 12 exam with 97 per cent marks. The second rank was secured by Pranjal Singh and the third rank by Utkarsh Shukla.

Over 56.11 lakh students had appeared in class 10 and 12 exams in 2020, with 30.24 lakh students (30,24,632) in High School and 25.86 lakh (25,86,440) students in Intermediate. In 2020, the high school and intermediate toppers had received a laptop and Rs 1 lakh as a token of appreciation.
