GSHSEB 12th Result 2021: GSHSEB Gujarat HSC result link available @gseb.org
Representative Image. NEW DELHI: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Saturday announced Class 12 results for General stream students.
A message posted on the official website reads: "HSC General May 2021 result will be declared on 31-July-2021 after 8AM on the result website
After the CBSE had scrapped class 12 board examination, the Gujarat government had also cancelled the examination. The decision was taken in the favour of the health and safety of students and teachers.
The results, to be declared online, will not be directly accessible for students. Schools will be able to access the results and they will hand out the marksheets to students after downloading from the online website.
After cancelling the Class 12 board exams, GSHSEB laid out guidelines for evaluating the academic performance of students based on merit-based progression. The performances in Class 12, Class 11 and Class 10 exams in a 25:25:50 ratio will be used to evaluate Class 12 results of students for the academic year 2020-21.
In the case of Class 12 performance, students will be evaluated based on their marks for the first unit test and the internal examination held in 2020-21. While Class 10 board results will be given 50% weightage, Class 11 first and second internal examinations will carry 25% weightage.
Students who are not satisfied with the results of Class 12 to be declared on Saturday, will be given a chance by GSHSEB to take the board exams in pen and paper (offline) format. For this, the regular students will have to return their marksheets to the state education board’s office within fifteen days of declaration of results.
