UP Board Result 2021 Live News: UPMSP 10th, 12th results soon on upresults.nic.in; 56 lakh students await

The total number of students registered for the UP board exams this year exceeds the population of around 118 countries, including New Zealand, Kuwait, Norway, Finland and Ireland, each having less than 56 lakh citizens.

In spite of the impact of Covid-19 on schools and studies, 56,03,813 students had registered this year to appear in the high school and intermediate examinations of UP Board. However, the UP Board 10th and 12th annual exams could not be held due to Covid-19 pandemic outbreak. The results of the students are prepared on basis of alternative assessment scheme.

Soon after the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 result are announced, admission process for intermediate and undergraduate courses will start. Students are advised to keep an eye on the official websites for further information regarding the online application process, fee, deadline, etc.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) will issue digital certificates to students this year. Students can visit the official website of the Board or contact the UP Board Helpline number to get more details on the same.

Students need to score minimum 35 per cent marks to pass in the UP board examination. Those students who do not score the pass mark or want to improve their score can apply for improvement or compartment exam which will be conducted by the Board after declaration of UP Board Exam Result 2021.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) is all set to release the UP Board Class 10 & 12 results today afternoon. This year around 56 lakhs candidates have registered for both the classes. Preparing results for such a huge number is certainly a difficult task but UP Board did a commendable job as it finished the evaluation work within the limited period. The UP Board will release the result for both the classes i.e., for 10th and 12th today around 3:30PM.

The UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 results will be declared on the official websites of the UP Board - upresults.nic.in and upmspresults.up.nic.in. Apart from these official websites, the UP Board Exam Results 2021 will be uploaded online on third party private websites like examresults.net and indiaresults.

As per the notification released by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) last night, the both UP Board 10th result and UP Board 12th result will be released at 3:30 pm on July 31.

The Uttar Pradesh government, in the larger interest of students, has promoted all students from class 6 to 8, 9 and 11, irrespective of any board, to the next class. The annual exams for these classes were cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The UP Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) used an alternative assessment method for promotion of class 10 students to the next class. The UPSEB had asked schools to send marks of half-yearly and pre-board exams of class 10 students to prepare the results.

The cancellation of UP Board class 10 exams has impacted more than 29.9 lakh students who had registered for the secondary board exams this year.

Taking cue from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the UP government on May 29, 2021, decided to cancel the UP board class 10 exams amid the rising Covid-19 cases.

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) will release the UP board class 10 and 12 results today at 3.30 pm. Candidates who have registered for the UP Board Exams 2021 can check their results at UPSEB’s website, www.upmsp.edu.in and www.upresults.nic.in.

Over 56 lakh candidates who registered for UP Board class 10 and 12 exams are awaiting their result.

For class 10 students, the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Board (UPSEB) will be announced the results on the basis of 50% marks obtained in class 9 and 50% of marks scored in class 10 pre-board.

As per the modalities and evaluation formula suggested by the expert committees, the UPMSP Class 12 Board Exam Results 2021 will be prepared on the basis of 50% marks obtained in class 10, then 40% in class 11 and the remaining 10% obtained by students in the pre-board examination of class 12.

To pass the UP Board class 10th and UP Board class 12 annual examinations, the students need to score a minimum of 33% marks. This year, the UP Board exams were cancelled due to Covid-19 pandemic and the Board later announced an alternative evaluation scheme to award marks to UP Board students of class 10 and 12. For (class 12) students, the board will consider 50% marks obtained in class 10, then 40% in class 11 and the remaining 10% obtained by students in the pre-board examination of class 12. Likewise for class 10 students, 50% marks will be calculated on the basis of total marks obtained in class 9 and 50% of marks scored in class 10 pre-board.

In 2020, 83.31% of students cleared UP Board high school results, while in 2019 the pass percentage was at 80.07%. For UP Board Intermediate results, 74.64% of students pass the exam in 2020 while in 2019, as many as 70.2% of students had cleared the UP Inter exams.
