CHSE Odisha class XII results 2021 for Science & Commerce stream declared

“I congratulate all students who have passed the examinations. Amidst corona pandemic the council members tried to do their best to assess the students based on an alternative assessment scheme,” said school and mass education minister Samir Ranjan Dash adding that the CHSE had earlier planned to announce the results in the second week of August but following Supreme Court’s order to announce results of class XII by July 31, the results of science and commerce were announced at the last hour. The results of the arts and vocational stream will be announced on August 6.
In the science stream, a total of 78,899 students were assessed of whom 78, 809 students passed in the science stream with a whopping 99.98% pass rate. Girls outshine boys in the science stream registering a pass percentage of 96.03% against the 94.46% pass percentage of boys. As many as 55, 468 students passed in the first division this year while the number of students passed in the first division. The highest number of 2, 278 students have secured marks above 90% against 137 students last year. A total 16, 943 students passed in the second division and 14, 631 students passed in the third division. The pass percentage of ex-regular students in the science stream is 71.27%.
In the commerce stream, a total of 21, 996 students were assessed of whom 21, 906 students passed the exam registering a pass percentage of 99.59%. Girls once again outshone boys with registering a pass percentage of 95.97% against the boys’ pass percentage of 94.39%. As many as 8, 355 students passed in the first division, 5692 students passed in the second division while 9066 students passed in the third division. As many as 149 students have secured 90% and above marks against 40 students last year. The pass percentage of ex-regular students was 71.27% in the commerce stream.
The minister said those students who are not happy with the marks they secured through the alternative assessment scheme may appear for the exam in offline mode. Dates and other information about the offline examination will be declared by the CHSE soon.
