    Apollo Hospital shares gain 0.12% as Sensex rises

    A total of 4,958 shares changed hands on the counter till 11:18AM (IST)

    Shares of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded 0.12 per cent up at Rs 4043.3 at 11:18AM (IST) on Friday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 62.7 points to 52715.77. The stock had settled at Rs 4038.5 in the previous session.

    The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 4188.45 and Rs 1567.2, respectively.

    As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 11:18AM (IST) stood at 11:18AM shares with turnover at Rs 2.01 crore.

    At the current price, shares of the company trades at 387.75 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 10.46 per share and 4.74 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

    A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

    The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.91.

    Shareholding Details
    Promoters held 29.82 per cent stake in the company as of 30-Jun-2021, while FIIs owned 53.23 per cent and DIIs 10.85 per cent.
