GladAfrica Championship outfit Royal AM has continued their pursuit to fight for DStv Premiership promotion as the club has now approached the Constitutional Court.
The saga started when Sekhukhune United was awarded a walk-over in their match against Polokwane City after Rise and Shine failed to field enough under-23s.
At the time, Royal AM was leading the table and say that because it had nothing to do with them, they should have been the team to be crowned outright winners of the GladAfrica Championship.
Royal AM did not pitch up for their four PSL (Premier Soccer League) promotion/relegation playoff matches as a sign of protest but have now seen their appeal dismissed by the Johannesburg High Court Judge Leonie Windell on Monday, with Sekhukhune confirmed as outright winners.
