Nanded, Jul 29 (UNI) The well known Vicky Thakur murder case is now taking new turn. The police, during interrogation, came to know that the accused in the case were also shot from the side of the deceased. A case under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code was filed against Vicky Chavan Mitramandal after a complaint was lodged by an assassin, today.
In this case, a pistol bullet went through the injured man's palm. The three accused in the case have been remanded in police custody for two days by First Class Magistrate Pravin Kulkarni, till July 31.
According to a complaint lodged by Mayuresh Suresh Katte, one of the seven assassins who came to assassinate Vicky Thakur on July 20, was shot at by one of Vicky Thakur's friends and the bullet went through his palm. The incident came to light after the Local Crime Branch nabbed the accused and interrogated them. It was clear that both gangs were preparing to kill each others’ members. Mayuresh revealed that Nikhil alias Kalu Madane, who accompanied Vicky, fired a bullet from his pistol at him while he was shooting Vicky Thakur. Others involved in the attack are Suraj Bhagwan Khirade (39), Ishwar Singh Jaswant Singh Girniwale (24) and deceased Vicky Dashrathsinh Thakur (32).
He also alleged that Vicky and his accomplices had insulted the family of Nitin Bighaniya in a quarrel in a court on July 2. But at that time, Nikhil did not lodge a complaint out of fear of Madane.
Itwara police have registered a case under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and the case has been handed over to Assistant Inspector of Police RS Mutyepod.
