Paris Saint-Germain boss Mauricio Pochettino says the club are still working on a number of signings – but chose not to address the club’s interest in signing Paul Pogba from Manchester United.

Pogba has one year remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford with talks ongoing over a new contract.

United want to keep the France international but his agent Mino Raiola has already held talks with PSG over a possible move this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side face the possibility of losing Pogba for nothing next year if they can’t tie him down to a new deal – with PSG reportedly ready to offer £40m for his services this summer.

But when quizzed on possible transfers, former Tottenham boss and one-time candidate for the United job Pochettino refused to name names.

‘I won’t give any names, I don’t like to speak about players who belong to other clubs,’ he told Le Parisien.

‘The club is working away quietly, achieving some good things. At the end of the window, we’ll see who the new players are – if there are any – and which players leave the squad.’

While there is interest from rival clubs United have not given up on Pogba signing a new deal with the club.

The Frenchman is said to have a very good relationship with Solskjaer and has been enthused by the club’s transfer business this summer – with countryman Raphael Varane poised to join Jadon Sancho in signing for United this summer.
