Tamil Nadu news live: Puducherry reports 100 new Covid-19 cases in last 24 hours

Tamil Nadu government on Friday extended the existing lockdown till August 9 with no new relaxations. Daily fresh Covid-19 cases reported in the state increased marginally over the past week. District collectors, corporation commissioners and police have been told to close down such places to prevent crowding, according to an official release from the government on Friday.
