The 28-year-old model revealed in a video, shared to her Instagram on Friday, that a freak accident in high school ended her potential basketball career.

The video then shows a photo of Simone when she was a high school student in 2009, lying on a hospital bed with a broken arm, twisted at a horrific angle.

'Shoutout to my Year 10 PE teacher Mrs Rodwell who came in the ambulance with me after I got absolutely pumped playing basketball at school in 2009,' the blonde bombshell wrote.
'Also shout out to my school friends who will literally never let me live this down,' she added with the hashtag, '#olympics'

'Why is your arm at that angle... sweet Jesus,' enquired TV presenter Danny Clayton, to which Simone explained it was 'dislocated and fractured.'

Simone shot to fame in 2011 when she placed second runner-up on Australia's Next Top Model.
She moved to Los Angeles, where she modelled for major brands like Guess, but recently moved back Australia.
The model starred as a contestant on I'm a celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 and later made an appearance on First Dates in 2020.
