BJP MLA welcomes Centre’s decision on OBC, EWS quotas

Aurangabad, Jul 30 (UNI) BJP MLA Atul Save on Friday hailed the Centre’s decision on providing quotas to the OBC and the EWS in the graduate and post graduate medical and dental courses.
“The central government's decision to give 27 per cent and 10 per cent reservation for OBCs and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS), respectively, in medical courses has ended the uncertain future of OBC students,” he underscored.
Also former minister of state, Mr Save hit out at the tripartite Maha Vikas Aghadi government for “neglecting the OBC community”.
He further said, “The issue of reservation for OBCs in Maharashtra is hanging in the balance due to the intransigence of the Thackeray government.”
“This decision taken by the Center in view of the educational future of the students has put an end to the injustice done by the Thackeray government,” he averred.
