July 29 is observed as International Tiger Day to spread awareness about the need to protect tigers which are an endangered species. On the occasion, now, many prominent faces from B-Town and other walks of life have penned down their thoughts on the conservation of the national animal. Actor Randeep Hooda talked about the importance of tigers in our ecosystem and that we should all acknowledge this day and pay homage to it. Not just Randeep Hooda, Dia Mirza was also seen raising awareness and celebrating this day on her social media handles. Dia Mirza is a Goodwill Ambassador of the UN and has taken several initiatives for climate change and wildlife. She shared few pictures of regal looking tigers that she herself had clicked, and wrote ‘This #GlobalTigerDay salute to all the protectors of our #Wild. They dedicate their lives to our #BigCats and forests Without them we would not have 70% of the world’s wild #Tigers in India.’
