The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labor and Social Affairs (MADLSA) confirmed that Qatari citizen can apply for housing with a loan to provide an adequate housing in accordance with Law No. 2 of 2007 on the housing system and the decisions contained therein.

According to the Ministry’s website, the request for the use of a housing loan by a married Qatari citizen Qatari / Qatari married non-Qatari / Qatari breadwinner for his children is a service that allows a Qatari citizen to submit a housing application with a loan to provide an adequate housing in accordance with Law No. (2) of 2007 on the housing system and the decisions included, as the Ministry clarified the provisions and conditions are as follows:

• He must be married to a non-Qatari in accordance with the provisions of Law No. (21) of 1989 regulating marriage to foreigners.
• Must be subsistence for his children.

• See Article No. (2) in Cabinet Resolution No. 17 of 2007 regarding priorities and controls for the use of the housing system.
