Mangled remains of the car, (R) Bus which the car crashed into
Vadodara: In a horrible incident, four persons died after a car they were travelling in rammed into a state transport (ST) bus in Chhota Udepur late on Tuesday night. The car was mangled badly and it took a lot of effort for the locals to pull out the victims from the vehicle. According to the police, the accident happened on the highway near Chhuchapura village in Sankheda taluka. The car was on its way to Madhya Pradesh while the ST bus was heading towards Chhota Udepur town from Bodeli-Dabhoi highway. The car rammed into the bus at very high speed. Luckily, none of the bus passengers suffered injuries. Hearing the loud sound, the locals rushed to the spot to help the victims. The four persons travelling in the car have been identified as Gyarsilal Patel, 36, Dinesh Patel, 43, Ishwarlal Birla, 46, and Rajesh Devram, 37, all residents of Khargone district in Madhya Pradesh. They all died on the spot. Some months ago, three men had died after two motorbikes rammed into each other in Pavi Jetpur taluka of Chhota Udepur. Earlier this month, two government employees had died in a road accident on Padra-Jambusar road when a SUV rammed into a two-wheeler.
