    Sensex rises! But these stocks fell 5% or more in Thursday's session

    In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 209.36 points up at 52653.07 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    On the BSE, Ishaan Infrastru (down 20.00 per cent), Yug Decor (down 20.00 per cent), Gujarat Hy-Spin (down 12.94 per cent), Ramco Systems (down 11.60 per cent) and Relicab Cable Manufa (down 10.53 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

    In the Nifty pack, 22 stocks closed in the green, while 28 stocks ended in the red.

    The index closed 69.05 points up at 15778.45.

    On the BSE, Ishaan Infrastru, Shashank Traders, PVP Ventures Ltd., Quantum Build-Tech and JLAInfraville&Shop hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem Ltd., Menon Pistons, N R Agarwal Ind, Cineline India and Gallantt Ispat touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
