Lions head coach Ivan van Rooyen has made two changes to the match-day 23 that will welcome the Pumas to Ellis Park on Friday.

Flanker Sibusiso Sangweni will get a starting berth due to an injury which forced Roelof Smit to leave the field early in last Sunday's 40-21 defeat to the Bulls in Pretoria.

Scrumhalf Morne van den Berg will also bring energy from the bench, as back-up to Andre Warner.

Friday's Currie Cup match is scheduled for 16:45.
