Tejas Networks agrees to sell controlling stake to Tata for INR 18.5 bln

Tejas Networks said Tata holding company Tata Sons has agreed to acquire a 26 percent controlling stake in the company. Under the deal, Tata subsidiary Panatone Finvest would acquire shares and warrants totalling INR 18.5 billion. Tejas said it will use the proceeds from the sale to invest in R&D, sales and marketing, and infrastructure.
