    Shares of Ltd. fell 2.04 per cent to Rs 2938.0 in Wednesday's session as of 01:31PM (IST) even as the equity benchmark Sensex traded 230.27 points lower at 52348.49.

    Earlier in the day, the stock witnessed a gap up start to the session. The stock quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 3309.0 and a 52-week low of Rs 1750.0 on NSE. Around 36135 shares changed hands on the counter till 01:31PM (IST).

    The stock opened at Rs 3011.0 and has touched an intraday high and low of Rs 3011.0 and Rs 2895.05 during the session so far. The counter quoted a price-to-earnings (PE) ratio of 60.51, earnings per share (EPS) of Rs 48.66 and price to book value (PB) of 6.16, while the return on equity (ROE) stood at Rs 13.81.

    Promoter/ FII Holding
    The promoters held 46.74 per cent stake in the company as of July 28, while FII and MF ownerships stood at 23.73 per cent and 13.21 per cent, respectively.

    With a market capitalisation of Rs 44671.88 crore, the company operates in the Pesticides/Agro Chem industry. For the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, the company reported consolidated sales of Rs 1241.3 crore, up 3.36 per cent from the previous quarter?s Rs 1201.0 crore and up 44.0 per cent from the same quarter a year ago. The company reported net profit of Rs 179.8 crore for the latest quarter, up 62.42 per cent from the corresponding quarter last year.
