NEW DELHI: A light-sport aircraft crashed into the roof of a private villa near Sheparivtsi village in Ukraine's Kolomyia district at around 1:40pm local time on Wednesday. All four people on board the WT-10 Advantic, including the pilot and three passengers died, as a blaze erupted post the crash. Ten firefighters and three fire trucks reached the site to contain the fire. The team reportedly had the fire under control by 1:58pm local time. "On July 28, at about 1:40pm, a light-powered sports plane crashed into a private house near the village of Sheparivtsi, Kolomyia district, with subsequent burning, killing four people," The state emergency service of Ukraine said in a statement. It is not yet clear what caused the crash.
