Nainital. The High Court rejected the bail application of Rajesh Gulati, who is serving a life sentence in the famous Anupama Gulati murder case of Dehradun. The court dismissed the application saying heinous crime. Earlier, in the application made by Gulati in front of the court, bail was sought on the basis of good behavior in jail and the certificate received from the jail. But the argument of the public prosecutor called it baseless.

During the hearing, it was told on behalf of Gulati that the software engineer Gulati has been in jail for the last 11 years and the jail has also given a certificate for his good conduct. On this basis, he should be granted bail. But in opposition to this, it was said on behalf of the government that 42 witnesses in the trial court against Gulati had called the murder ruthless. Bail cannot be given to such a heinous crime. A few days back also another application of Gulati was rejected.

Remind that in this case, an application was also made in the court for short-term bail on medical grounds, but the government had said that Rajesh Gulati is being given a treatment facility in the nearest hospital, so the short-term bail was given. Not needed. Do you also remember how serious the Anupama Gulati murder case was?
