Delhi government's order regarding black fungus, cashless treatment will be available in private hospital

In view of the increasing need for surgery of Black Fungus patients in the capital and the increasing wait in Delhi`s government hospitals, the Delhi Government has issued a new order.

The DGHS of Delhi has made a major change in the guidelines of Delhi Arogya Kosh, under which now the surgery of mucormycosis patients can be done in private hospitals under this scheme.

People living in Delhi will get a lot of relief from this change. Cashless Surgery Scheme Delhi Arogya Kosh is applicable here for the residents of Delhi, especially those with a Voter ID card of Delhi.

Under which surgery of mucormycosis also comes, but only selected hospitals of Delhi government to have facilities for the operation of black fungus i.e. mucormycosis, so many people have to wait for surgery.

DGHS has now changed the guidelines, giving relief to the people suffering from this life-threatening disease. From now on, black fungus patients coming under the Arogya Kosh scheme will be able to be referred from government hospitals to empaneled private hospitals and their surgery will be done on time.

According to DGHS, if a date is given for mucormycosis surgery in any government hospital after seven days, then instead of waiting, he can be admitted to a private hospital where he can undergo surgery on time.
