He might not be Bond, but Regé-Jean Page follows Sir Roger Moore's footsteps by playing another famous character.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the Bridgerton actor will star in and produce a reimagining of The Saint for Paramount Pictures. According to the publication, details of the film remain under wraps.
Based on the novels by Leslie Charteris, it follows Simon Templar, known as the Saint, a Robin Hood-esque thief for hire who steals from the rich and gives to the poor.
Roger Moore played the titular character in the 1960s British series, and Val Kilmer starred in the 1997 movie version.
Shortly after the announcement, the 31-year-old tweeted a gif of Sir Roger in the series.
