Issuing a statement, Yuvraj said, "We all have suffered a lot during the second wave of Covid-19. We lost our loved ones, we also had to struggle for oxygen, ICU beds and other important facilities.
Former India all-rounder and two-time World Cup-winning team member Yuvraj Singh`s institute YouweCan Foundation has set up 120 Critical Care Unit (CCU) beds at the Government Medical College and General Hospital in Nizamabad, Telangana. The foundation has received financial support from Accenture for this. YouweCan Foundation provided the hospital with a wide range of medical equipment including BPAP machines, ICU ventilators, patient monitors, crash carts and oxygen cylinders.

Yuvraj Singh further said in the statement, `With such an uncertain crisis and the loss of many lives, I myself had to go through a personal loss after which, I decided that I should join the fight against this deadly virus. Our doctors and frontline warriors should be supported.
