24-year-old ‘killed’ by couple in Bhubaneswar, hubby critical

SAMBALPUR: A couple allegedly murdered a 24-year-old youth at Hariom Nagar under Dhanupali police station in the city late on Monday night. The couple has also sustained injuries in the incident and are undergoing treatment at Vimsar, Burla. Police are yet to ascertain the motive behind the incident.
While police identified the deceased as Deepak Yadav, the couple have been identified as Vinit Pardia (33) and his wife Minati (30). Deepak is a relative of the accused Vinit.
Police said the incident took place at around 11.30 pm on Monday. Deepak had a good relationship with Vinit and would frequently visit their home. He had gone to their house on Monday night but a heated argument ensued which later turned into a scuffle.
On hearing screaming from inside the house, locals informed the police. Police reached the spot and found Deepak lying in a pool of blood and Vinit critically injured in the house. Minati had also sustained injuries.
They were taken to the district headquarters hospital, Sambalpur, where Deepak was declared brought dead.
