Karnataka: Baby elephant falls into well in Kodagu, rescue operation on
The incident occurred around 6am, said a local resident.
MYSURU: Forest department launched an operation to rescue a baby elephant which fell into a small well in Devarapura Bhadragola village in Kodagu district. The village is located on Mysuru-Gonikoppal road.
Sanju, a local resident and an eye witness, said that the incident came to light around 6am on Tuesday.
"We alerted the forest department officials immediately. Efforts are on to rescue the elephant," he said.
