Prataap Snacks commences commercial production at new unit in Howrah; Stock gains ~2%

The new unit has been set up by the company for the production of extruded snacks, pellets, and other snacks with a capacity of about 6,000 MT per annum.

Prataap Snacks Limited has commenced commercial production at its newly set up Unit at Mouza - New Kolorah, Police Station - Dornjur, District - Howrah, West Bengal from July 26, 2021.

The Unit in Howrah has been set up for production of extruded snacks, pellets, and other snacks with a capacity of about 6,000 MT per annum, the company said in a filing on Monday.

At around 11.18 AM, Prataap Snacks Ltd was trading at Rs741.30 per piece up by Rs13.3 or 1.83% from its previous closing of Rs728 per piece on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs718 and has touched a high and low of Rs748.30 and Rs718 respectively, during intraday trade on Tuesday.
