Hey guys, my birthday is in a week, and I've been trying to get a 315 squat single, lately everything's been feeling pretty amazing and I've been attempting to squat 2x a week (if my schedule allows it)
Here's my breakdown of the last few weeks.
7/16;
Warm up to 275 single, then 305 belted single (new PR)
Back down to 275x1 single (beltless)
225x2x10
185x12 (or so)
Machine accessories (hamstring curls, quads, hip abductors)
7/22
Warm up to 225 single
245 5x3 (beltless)
185x15
135x20
7/26
Warm up to 275 single beltless
Then belted 255x3x3 which felt relatively good
I did some deadlifts and front squats too today.
If I keep add 10 lbs per week, will I be able to hit 315 relatively soon/easily? My goal is that 275 feels relatively good / can squat for reps before attempting 315.
