Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) and District Administration of Kargil bid adieu to the team of 'Laal Singh Chaddha' with a warm farewell on July 26, which is celebrated as Kargil Vijay Diwas in the country. The team had been shooting the war scene in the Himalayan district for over a month. According to a report by a new portal, LAHDC hosted a dinner as a token of love and gratitude for the 'Lal Singh Chaddha' team at the residence of Deputy Commissioner Kargil to bid them farewell. The lead actor and producer Aamir Khan attended the dinner party with co-producer Kiran Rao, and expressed that they were extremely touched by the warmth and the love they received in Kargil. Aamir also appreciated the proactive cooperation of the local public as well as the district administration during the entire shoot and thanked the District Commissioner, the local administration, the local council and the public for their support.
