Konkan Divisional Commissioner gives yeoman call

Thane, Jul 26 (UNI) Konkan Divisional Commissioner VB Patil on Monday gave a yeoman call to the generous donors for those who have suffered in the recent floods in Konkan he said.
Patil was taking a detailed review of the goods and services being provided to the flood affected where he made this appeal to the social organization, generous donors, private big establishments to come out and help.
Worst ever floods have affected the life of people in Ratnagiri and Raigad districts and they are forced to face several problems.
There is a dire need for the big donors to come forward he said. He also said that coordinating officials have been appointed for the districts of Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurgh.
