After BCCI officials- Sourav Ganguly and Jay Shah had touched the Gulf Country earlier this month, things have picked up pace regarding the preparations for the remainder of the tournament. The official announcement for the second phase of the IPL has been made which will begin with a mouth-watering clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and three-time champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai on September 19. The itinerary and schedule for the same are out. The tournament will culminate on October 10.

IPL 2021 Phase 2: Flight ban extended till August 2

In the recent development of events, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has extended the ban on international flights from India till August 2. Irrespective of any Visa holder, any travelers from India will not be able to travel to the Gulf country until August 2. The date could be extended, depending on directions by the UAE authorities.

In a tweet on Monday, Etihad Airline said, “We’ve just received confirmation that flights from India are suspended till the 2nd August, and we are not entirely sure if this will be extended as it depends on the authorities. You may not see availability on the website because of the schedule uncertainty. *Sky

It must be noted that the international flights from India to Dubai have been suspended from April 24 ever since the second wave of Coronavirus has ravaged India.
