Navi Mumbai reports 81 new Covid-19 cases, 85 recoveries

NAVI MUMBAI: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) area on Tuesday reported 81 new Covid-19 cases, taking the overall count to 1,03,396.
Two patients also succumbed to the virus. Till date, 1,819 people have lost their lives.
During the day, 85 people were discharged from hospitals after making a recovery. Till date, 100,396 people have recovered.
The active cases in the region now stand at 1,181. Whereas, 284 people are in home isolation.
Among the new cases, 18 people tested positive each in Belapur and Koparkhairne, 15 in Vashi, nine each in Nerul and Turbhe, seven in Ghansoli, four in Airoli, and one in Digha.
