Australia chase 153 to win ODI series
Australia will chase 153 to beat the West Indies and win the ODI series in Barbados, after a strong bowling effort in the third and final game.
The hosts were dismissed for 152 off 45.1 overs after captain Kieron Pollard won the toss.
All five Australian bower's took a wicket with Mitchell Starc (3-43 off 9.1 overs) leading the way and finishing the series with 11 wickets at an average of 10.63
New-ball partner Josh Hazlewood, back after missing game two with a calf issue, took 2-18 off eight miserly overs.
Spinners Adam Zampa (2-29), Ashton Agar (2-31) and Ashton Turner (1-23 off 8 overs) all profited on a pitch offering turn.
"Its a real treat bowling on that wicket, I'd like to take that everywhere with me," said Agar, who returned career-best ODI figures.
Australia made three changes to the side that lost the second ODI.
Hazlewood, Agar, and 38-year-old allrounder Daniel Christian were recalled, with the latter making his first ODI appearance since January 2014.
With Ben McDermott out with an ankle injury, veteran Moises Henriques, who has struggled for runs on tour, was promoted to opener.
Pacemen Riley Meredith and Wes Agar joined Meredith - three of the least experienced members of the squad with just five ODI appearances between them - to miss out.
West Indies, who are striving to win their first ODI series against Australia since 1995, slumped to 6-75 in the 24th over.
A seventh-wicket stand of 44 between opener Evin Lewis (55 not out) and paceman Alzarri Joseph (15) was the hosts' only significant partnership.
Opener Lewis had to retire in the fourth over due to concussion protocols when he top-edged a short Hazlewood delivery into his helmet.
Lewis, who was on five at the time, resumed his innings in the 23rd over after the fall of the fifth wicket.
He showed much greater application than his fellow batsman, several of who were dismissed playing poor strokes against a probing attack.
Lewis reached his 50 with a six over long on off the bowling of Zampa.
West Indies lost their first wicket on 24 when the recalled Shimron Hetmyer chopped a Hazlewood delivery onto his stumps.
Agar had Shai Hope well caught by a diving Mitchell Marsh before Nicholas Pooran was bowled by Turner in the next over after not offering a shot.
The recalled spinner then had Darren Bravo caught at point for 18.
Starc got in on the act by having the dangerous Pollard (11) caught at cover off his first delivery of a new spell.
Zampa bowled Jason Holder in the next over for five to leave the hosts in disarray.
Hazlewood broke the stubborn seventh-wicket stand and enjoyed immediate success with the first ball of a new spell, getting Joseph to edge the ball behind to stand-in skipper Alex Carey.
Starc picked up two of the final three West Indies wickets to wrap up the innings.
